Adesh Tyagi

Adesh Tyagi is a well-experienced executive who has significant expertise in cloud computing, energy consulting, and more. In February 2017, Adesh Tyagi returned to Systems America, Inc., a company he originally started in 1994. He was named President of the company. In mid-2018, Adesh Tyagi was also named managing partner of Nexent Ventures and Nexent Capital Management. The latter is an artificial intelligence and blockchain-focused fund and his involvement has also allowed him to support the recent launch of C7 Partners as a board member.

Adesh Tyagi brings with him more than 25 years of experience in business, and he has focused on a variety of technologies, including Cloud Computing, Big Data, Analytics, and Mobility solutions. One of Mr. Tyagi’s main initiatives will be to build Systems America’s diverse portfolio of IT infrastructure and cloud services.

Before Adesh Tyagi rejoined Systems America, he was the Managing Partner at Nexent Ventures, a private equity and advisory firm he founded and worked at from 2002 to 2017. As Managing Partner, Adesh Tyagi was in charge of the fund’s M&A, corporate restructuring, and LBO team, which was focused on identifying and executing transactions.

During his time at Nexent Ventures, Adesh Tyagi led private and public financings in excess of $1.6 billion, and those transaction involved parties in the United States, Europe, China, India, and the Association of South East Nations (ASEAN). Adesh Tyagi also was involved with an energy-focused private equity fund (Nexent Power Growth Fund) that focused on India and other emerging markets.

Recent in-house initiatives at Nexent Ventures has allowed Adesh Tyagi to become managing partner. At Nexent Ventures and Nexent Capital Management, the mission is to invest in companies  that can benefit from the installation of automation and robotization. Under Nexent, C7 Partners has also been recently launched. This company offers digital strategy and innovation opportunities via AI, cloud and big data to operations from various fields.

Adesh Tyagi earned his Masters of Management Studies and Masters of Science degrees in Biological Sciences from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India. He came to the United States in 1991 as an exclusive Mahatma Gandhi Fellow to pursue his MBA. He started his first company while working on his MBA and sold it to McDonald-Douglas in 1992. He would later enter the post-graduate program at the prestigious Wharton School of Business while starting a management consulting company in the energy sector. The consulting company later merged with a UK company, which was later sold to Booz Allen Hamilton.

As mentioned above, Mr. Tyagi founded Systems America, Inc. in 1994, and the company quickly became a household name in the technology sector. It grew into a nationally recognized SAP Premier National Technology and Consulting Pater, and the company was named one of the fastest growing companies in the United States in 1997. Under Mr. Tyagi’s leadership, Systems America developed many new technologies, including multimedia technology for third generation mobile phones. Adesh Tyagi also was responsible for launching Systems America’s Indian subsidiary.
